Originally from Indianapolis, Dr. Dowell was the former Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he also served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering.
He has led and contributed to several national and regional presentations, including presentations to the Radiological Society of North America, Society of Interventional Radiology and American College of Physicians Indiana Chapter. He has also co-authored more than 50 publications and abstracts as well as served as a manuscript reviewer and served in leadership roles in a number of radiology and IR-focused committees.
